Job description
Overview
Our Client is a leading local and national product distributer serving a range of industries, from construction to contracting. In order to manage workload and internal promotions, they require an Accounts Assistant - Sales Ledger to join a busy, friendly team.
As Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for:
- Processing of customer payments and new account applicqtions
- Credit checking
- Account reconciliations and bank reconciliations
- Dealing with customer and branch queries over the phone or via email
- Liaising with branch managers.
The ideal candidate for the role of Accounts Clerk will have:
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Confident communication skills
- Previous experience in a similar role would be preferred but is not essential as full training will be given
