Job description


Our Douglas-based Client are an internationally renowned CSP with a specialist focus within the Yachting segment.

Due to growth, a vacancy has arisen for an enthusiastic person to join their Accounts offices as an Accounts / Payments Administrator.

Role Profile

  • Daily reconciliation of the Company's bank accounts
  • Posting bank receipts, standing orders and bank charges into the accounting ledger
  • Processing of daily payments via Berenberg banking system and posting into the accounting ledger
  • Arranging and processing monthly payments of crew wages and invoicing to vessel owners for a portfolio of Shipyards and Riding Gang crew
  • Processing the monthly payments of crew home allotments
  • Reconciliation of Agency working funds
  • Input of customer invoices into the Laserfische invoicing system
  • Ad hoc projects

Person Profile

  • Bookkeeping & payments experience would be beneficial
  • Good communication skills
  • Detail orientated
  • Ability to work individually and within a team
  • Sun Accounts experience would be beneficial
  • Experience within Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Good work ethic
