Job description

Overview

Our Client is a well established Douglas-based organisation that offers a comprehensive suite of accountancy and wealth management services. As they undergo a growth phase, they are seeking an Administrator / Compliance Assistant.

As Compliance Assistant, you will provide administrative assistance to the Compliance department. Duties will include:

  • Client onboarding
  • Multi-currency invoice preparation
  • Assistance with internal compliance
  • Payment statement preparation
  • Communication with contractors and agencies

The ideal candidate for the role of Compliance Assistant will have:

  • A minimum of 1 years' office experience within a financial services company
  • Adept in the use of MS Office suite
  • Has attained 5 or more GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C or above
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
  • Strong communication skills
  • Organisational skills & ability to prioritise

Desirable:

  • A working knowledge of CCH, Laserfiche and ViewPoint would be an advantage but not essential
  • Are studying toward or interested in studyig toward a formal compliance qualification
