Overview
Our client are a leading firm of local Advocates with divisions across the legal arena and are now seeking an experienced Advocate to join and become an integral part of the team.
This opportunity is open to advocates with experience in any area of practice. You will have the opportunity to work across a broad range of legal matters while delivering an exceptional standard of service to clients.
As an Advocate here you will be:
- Advising clients on a wide range of legal matters
- Managing client relationships and providing practical legal solutions
- Representing clients in negotiations, meetings and court proceedings where appropriate
- Providing clear and commercially focused legal advice
- Conducting legal research and preparing legal opinions
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the firm
- Contributing to the continued development of client relationships and the firm's practice areas
- Managing matters efficiently while maintaining high standards of client care
The ideal candidate for the Advocate role will be:
- A Qualified Advocate or Solicitor eligible for admission as an Isle of Man Advocate
- Experience in any area of legal practice will be considered
- Strong technical and legal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Commercial awareness and a client-focused approach
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Professional, proactive and collaborative approach
- Preference will be given to candidates currently resident in the Isle of Man
