Overview
Our Client is a well established Douglas-based organisation that offers a comprehensive suite of accountancy and wealth management services to enable clients to grow, manage and preserve all facets of their financial affairs through cross-border resources and expertise-led solutions. As they continue a growth phase, they are seeking an Assistant Manager (Accounts) for their Fiduciary Team.
As Assistant Manager - Accounts, you will be responsible for:
- Oversight in respect of the preparation and review of financial statements, including; property holding, lending, investment portfolios, insurance products and private equity
- Oversight of providing financial statements to clients within set deadlines
- Dealing with client queries on financial statements
- Preparation/review of monthly management accounts
- Supervising day-to-day activities of the accounts department
- Support the team with monthly bank reconciliations
- Reviewing IOM/UK tax returns when required
- Provide guidance and support to junior members of the team
The ideal candidate for the role of Assistant Manager - Accounts will be:
- Qualified ACA/ACCA, qualified by experience or part qualified
- Have proven accounting and/or audit experience
