Overview

Our Client are one of the largest providers of fund, private client, capital market and corporate services in the market, recognised by clients and the industry for exceptional client service and value and known for strong and sustained growth. As they continue to expand, they require an experienced Assistant Manager to_assist in the management of the Investor Services team.

Role Profile

  • Liaise directly with investors and credit providers of managed funds
  • Assist in the supervision of shareholder dealing in a timely manner, including email enquires from investors and clients (both internal and external)
  • Assist in the management of investor due diligence and KYC
  • Assist in the reviewing of fund accounting team matters, such as Net Asset Valuation review and manager reports
  • Assist in the planning of work flows and work assignments
  • Assist the manager with personnel matters
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures and seeking to optimise efficiency with the use of systems and time spent by staff
  • Develop client relationships (internal and external)
  • Deliver exceptional services within agreed service levels and budgets
  • Monitor and reduce clients exposure to risk
  • Complete all internal compliance documentation and other record keeping systems as may be required within the delegation of authority
  • Deputise in the absence of the Manager both in terms of people management and processing of daily work loads

Person Profile

  • A minimum of 5 years' professional experience within the Finance industry, preferably the Funds industry
  • Good knowledge and experience of management, fund accounting, transaction services or financial instrument valuation practices
  • Strong report writing and analytical ability
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally
  • Good ability to manage own workload and that of others
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite of programs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good all round organisational skills
