Job description

Overview

Our East-Midlands based client is one of the leading test facilities within the automotive sector. They are currently seeking individuals who have either existing EMC test experience or have experience of vehicles and wish to use this to enter the electrical / EMC test environment.

Please note, this role requires shift work.

Role Profile

Must Haves

  • Minimum B at Maths and English GCSE
  • A Level / HNC / Degree in Electronics / Engineering / Maths
  • Knowledge of vehicles / cars
  • EMC
  • Driving licence
  • Knowledge of electrical and / or electronic systems

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Perform testing and produce reports of products submitted for test
  • Document high quality experimental work in accordance with industry and company standards
  • Follow internal test procedures and specifications
  • Use and create (if required) detailed procedures as required by approval bodies for the certification process
  • Liaison with internal engineers to understand and resolve all issues arising during the testing process
  • Assist with the set-up and testing of prototype products submitted for test
  • Support the sales team when required with queries relating to product testing and approvals
