Overview
Our leading Douglas-based Finance Sector Client are enjoying a busy workload within their New Business team. To support this, they have an opportunity for a Client Services Associate to join them.
As a Client Services Associate you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless and efficient onboarding of new clients. The team is responsible for verifying and processing all required documentation, conducting thorough risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. They collaborate closely with a variety of teams to gather necessary information and address any queries or issues that may arise during the onboarding process. Additionally, the team provides clear and concise communication to clients and advisors, guiding them through each step of the process.Specific duties will include:
- Actively contribute to the successful delivery of the departmental objectives along with your own personal business objectives and performance development plan
- Be a team player and contribute to the "one team" approach across all of Client Services
- Take ownership of and resolve any queries through to a satisfactory conclusion
- Support ongoing reviews and updating of procedures within the team and department
- Responsible for the accurate and efficient completion of administrative tasks provided
- Support our approach of full ownership of customer and adviser queries from receipt until the customer expectations have been satisfied.
- Ensure pended work is reviewed, chased and closed within expected timescale
- Proactive, solutions-based approach to understanding issues which arise, andable to implement actions according to administrative policies and procedures
- Timely and professional contact with stakeholders should be maintained at all times
- Assist in developing, implementing and sharing best practices
- Contribute to a proactive working culture

The ideal candidate for the role of Client Services Associate will have:
- Previous experience in Life Assurance or a similar customer service-based industry
- Experience with New Business and Policy Serving
- Competent in Microsoft applications: Including Word, Outlook, SharePoint and Excel
- Highly self-motivated individual who is willing to participate and actively assist in improving current processes
- Experience in handling external telephone calls with both clients and independent financial advisors
- Ability to manage and prioritise own workload in a fast-paced environment and be able to make decisions within the remit of their role
