Overview
Our Client is a niche international Life Assurance business with operations across the Isle of Man and the UK. In order to manage local growth they are looking for a Client Services Manager to join a small but high performing team on a 6-month fixed term contract as they progress a large digitisation project.
You will be integral to the success of the business, assisting customers with a wide variety of queries, providing guidance and support and most importantly, building rapport to encourage and cultivate ongoing relationships with the financial adviser firms that they company work with.
As Client Service Manager here you would be responsible for:
- Developing and managing relationships with the financial adviser firms and their clients
- Providing support to financial advisers and their staff in order to develop their understanding of the company's platform
- Building and maintaining mutually-beneficial relationships with colleagues across the Group
- Processing work received via post, e-mail and tasks within the agreed time-scales
- Prioritising and managing your workload throughout the day
- Answering calls from adviser firms and their clients promptly and provide them with high quality service
- Responding to queries from clients, advisers and colleagues in a timely manner
- Quality checking your work and that of your colleagues
- Identifying and helping to solve systemic issues
- Working closely with adviser firms, other providers and internal parties to ensure timely completion of work
- Processing daily banking movements including internal Company to Company movements, EQ, BACs and Bankline
The ideal candidate for the role of Client Services Manager will have:
- Knowledge and understanding of general Banking
- Basic knowledge and understanding of the Offshore Market
- Minimum of 2 years financial services experience
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a client facing role
- Ability to prioritise workload efficiently and to work effectively under pressure
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work as part of a team to achieve targets and improve
- Ability to be flexible to accommodate the varying day to day needs arising in a small office
Desirable:
- Qualified to Degree level
- Hold Financial Services Qualification (CII,IOC, CFP)
- Knowledge of Onshore and Offshore Bonds
- Knowledge of structured products, fixed interest products and Investment Trusts
- Experience of providing direct service to financial advisers
- Experience of general banking functions
