Job description
Overview
Our Douglas-based Accounting & Advisory Client are expanding its team to help manage an expanding customer base and organic workload growth. To support this, they are seeking an experienced Compliance Administrator.
The purpose of this role is to support the Head of Compliance (HoC) in the delivery of the firm's compliance requirements and objectives for a busy local T/CSP and registered designated businesses.
The Compliance Administrator will:
- Undertake KYC reviews and screening checks
- Carry out sampling and reporting as part of the ongoing monitoring plan
- Assist in the take on of new business process
- Assist with regulatory submissions
- Sanctions & PEP screening
- Provide guidance and support for administrator queries
- Ad hoc tasks to support the Head of Compliance or Directors
The ideal candidate for the Compliance Administrator role will have:
- Previous experience in a compliance or similar role ideally within a TCSP environment
- An understanding of the FSA and the Island's regulatory framework
- A good knowledge of the FSA Rulebook and AML/CFT Code
- Working towards or an interest in undertaking relevant studies
- Ability to work independently within a team environment
- Organised and able to work to deadlines
