Job description
Overview
Our Douglas-based Client are an internationally renowned CSP with a specialist focus within the Yachting segment. They are now seeking a Compliance Executive to join an established Compliance and Risk team within the business.
Role Profile
- Updating and maintaining internal policies, procedures, and registers
- Assisting the Head of Compliance in drafting new procedures
- Assisting the team with compliance matters, always promoting adherence to policies and procedures
- Assisting with compliance monitoring
- Undertake screening and investigations via Riskscreen
- Collate data for regular board and stakeholder reporting, and for regulatory submissions
- Establishing and maintaining close working relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless client experience
- Promoting a positive compliance first culture, including training and awareness for colleagues in a supportive, collaborative environment
Person Profile
- An in-depth understanding of the regulatory environment is desired
- An understanding of AML and possibly legal positions, in multiple jurisdictions is desirable
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
- Self-driven, proactive, and dedicated to excellent client service is a key requirement
- Able to take accountability and responsibility for own personal development
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Professional and values driven
Desirable
- A suitable compliance qualification would be beneficial, but not required. The company are happy to support professional studies and provide full training for the right person. The attitude and desire to succeed in a compliance role is essential - they can teach you the rest
