Overview

Our long-established Douglas-based Corporate Service Provider, part of a diverse group of companies, is seeking an experienced Compliance Officer to join their established, friendly team.

The Compliance Officer will:

• Provide support with administration of the compliance workload of the Compliance team, alongside other Compliance Officers
• Keep up to date on relevant regulations and guidelines impacting the business
• Provide practical guidance on the interpretation of laws and regulations
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with the team, clients, and regulator
• Perform risk assessments, periodic file reviews and evaluate proposed new business at onboarding
• Monitor compliance, review, maintain, and enhance policies & procedures
• Provide regular staff briefings on updates or changes to compliance policy and regulations

The ideal candidate for the role of Compliance Officer will have:

• A minimum 2 years' AML and compliance related experience within a regulated environment
• Strong interpersonal skills, articulate and confident
• Able to influence a culture of compliance understanding and adherence
• Demonstrable organisational skills
• Attention to detail

Desirable

• Ideally, you will hold a professional qualification with ICA or the Governance Institute
