Overview

Our London-based client are an exciting start-up / scale-up business providing innovative solutions within business financing, creating bespoke, flexible and fit for purpose outcomes for the client base. As the team continues to grow, they now require an additional experienced Credit Risk Analyst to join an emerging, high performing team.

Reporting to the Head of Data & Risk, the Credit Risk Analyst will identify problems, tasks, concerns and solve them however difficult to pinpoint they may be, while also assisting across different areas where necessary, so be responsive to evolving tasks.

The ideal candidate for the Credit Risk Analyst role will have:

• Credit Risk Underwriting experience, with a proven ability to assess commercial loan applications with a strong focus on analysing financial statements to identify and mitigate risk
• Able to demonstrate experience in SME lending
• Combine strong commercial acumen with sharp analytical skills
• Has a drive to innovation and automation: driven to develop data-driven solutions and leverage technology to streamline risk assessment processes
• Initiative and Adaptability: demonstrate a strong work ethic and initiative
• Proven ability to prioritise effectively and manage your workload in a fast-paced start-up environment
• Works in a compliant manner, while using initiative to confidently make correct decisions without need for consultation
