Job description


Our award winning Digital Marketing Client who are based in Manchester City Centre are seeking an ambitious and experienced Digital Marketing Executive to join their growing team.The role is ideal for someone with 2-3 years of agency experience. You must be responsive, able to think & act quickly to juggle work, have the ability to build a rapport with existing clients and team members and have a knock-out can-do attitude.

You'll start by taking ownership of a small handful of accounts that are predominantly organic social and content-focused with a view to using your existing knowledge and skillset to grow these clients into paid media and SEO accounts.

Role Profile

  • Report on successes and challenges within marketing efforts.
  • Manage the day to day running and liaising with a small handful of clients.
  • Measure performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of Web analytics tools (Google Analytics etc.)
  • Be proactive and deliver new ideas for our clients with support of senior team members.
  • Understand what your client's key performance indicators (KPI) are and how to monitor these.
  • Keep up to date with the latest developments in digital marketing
  • Conduct competitor analysis and other research required
  • Set Up and monitor Paid Social Campaigns
  • Effectively manage client budgets
  • Optimise and make recommendations according to key performance indicators and with guidance from senior members of the team
  • Willing to learn to create client reports on post campaign analysis and create future actions.
  • Create regular performance reports to improve the overall performance of campaigns with support of senior team members
  • Monitor and develop reports on competitor activity within social media spaces.
  • Be able to create a media plan in response to a client brief
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of how Organic Social works in conjunction with other channels as part of a connected communications approach.
  • Be proactive and deliver new ideas for our clients in line with their business objectives
  • Monitor and develop reports on competitor activity within social media spaces.
  • Manage editorial planning, including creation and scheduling of engaging content that sells across our different channels.

Person Profile

  • A degree in marketing or above or CIM registered
  • 2-3 years agency experience
  • Used to updating content via CMS'
  • Experience of managing social media accounts
  • Excellent communication and writing skills - ability to write blog content
  • Excellent interpersonal skills - ability to demonstrate previous client relationships
  • Experience with Google Analytics
  • Experience with the following software; Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Search Console, Google Trends, Answer the public is preferred
