Overview

Our Client is a leading international Accounting & Consulting firm based in Douglas and are seeking a Director of Restructuring and M&A to join their expanding audit team.

As Director of Restructuring and M&A you will provide strategic advice and lead complex financial and operational restructuring projects while managing key stakeholder relationships. Specific duties will include:

• Advising on mergers and acquisitions including financial and operational due diligence
• Support financial institutions on property and loan portfolio sales
• Provide strategic advice and manage complex trading receiverships and liquidations
• Advise directors of insolvent companies on financial and operational strategies
• Conduct independent business reviews
• Develop and deliver short term cash flow models and long term integrated forecasts and appraisals
• Perform options reviews to guide client decision making
• Manage relationships with senior stakeholders including Boards and Private Equity holders
• Build and mentor a high performing team within the restructuring practice

The ideal candidate for the role of Director of Restructuring and M&A will have:

• Strong technical background in restructuring insolvency or corporate advisory
• Proven ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders Boards and Private Equity investors
• Experienced in business development and networking to grow client relationships
• Strategic thinker with the ability to lead complex projects and deliver actionable insights
• Ambitious with the drive to contribute to the growth of the practice and long term success of the organisation
