Job description
Overview
Our Douglas-based client who is focused on fiduciary services with a reputation for excellence is looking to grow their team and are now seeking an experienced File Review Administrator to provide support to the Compliance and Risk team.
As File Review Administrator here you will be responsible for:
- Periodic and ad hoc reviews
- Document and manage action points
- Ensure reviews are completed in a timely manner
- Contribute to the process via improvement ideas and to the overall risk framework
- Input into updating relevant policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory obligations and best practice
- Ensure service standards and company policies and procedures are adhered to
- Use best judgement to highlight and report significant matters to Line Management
- Support and develop relationships with the wider team
- Develop and maintain a 'can do' culture wherein people are commercially aware, fully focussed and able to meet efficiency targets
- Ensure the company contributes effectively to the Group's overall mission through the growth and quality of its service provision
The ideal candidate for the role of File Review Administrator will have:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a CSP environment
- Hold a professional qualification such as STEP/ICSA or similar relevant qualification (preferred)
- Possess excellent communication skills and 'people awareness', combined with the ability to establish productive working relationship with teams
- A good understanding of trust and corporate services and their practical implications
- A good awareness of IOM and UK tax implications, knowledge of Isle of Man Companies Acts, related Corporate Governance, Anti-Money Laundering and other current compliance legislation
- A good understanding of banking procedures and practices
- A working knowledge of relevant computer applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Viewpoint, Laserfiche)
- Disciplined and organised approach
- A willingness to learn and develop in the role and work as part of a team
