Job description

Overview

Our highly respected Douglas-based Finance Sector company is seeking to add to their team with the hire of an additional Fund Administrator to join the Fund Services team.The team provides support services to the shareholders of the various fund types under management. In this role you will undertake a range of routine day to day tasks, including processing, checking and documenting duties, using acquired knowledge of processes under supervisory guidance.

As Fund Administrator you will be responsible for:

  • Timely and accurate processing of data
  • Work within the team using established guidelines and procedures
  • Assist in the on-boarding process of new investors to the funds
  • Maintain high standards of Customer Service both internally and externally
  • Provide accurate informed responses to customer/audit/internal enquiries or referral to more experienced members of the team
  • Assisting in the valuation of the daily dealing fund
  • Liaising with financial institutions where assets are invested on a regular basis
  • Processing of subscriptions and redemptions on a daily basis via online banking systems
  • Daily reconciliation of fund and client accounts

The ideal candidate for the role of Fund Administrator will have:

  • Educated to degree level
  • Previous experience in a similar processing/payments role
  • Excellent working knowledge of basic treasury and payment functions
  • Methodical, enquiring mind and attention to detail
  • Solid understanding of SOF/SOW and AML compliance requirements
  • Experience working in a regulatory environment
  • Effective communication skills with a strong focus on the overall client experience
  • Self-motivated with a structured approach to work
  • Able to identify and analyse problems by interpreting data available
  • Ability to communicate with all levels
