Job description


Our Client is a leading internationally focussed Financial Services organisation, is experiencing continued growth across a number of divisions. To support this, they are seeking an experienced Implementation Manager (Wealth Management) to join an established team.

As platform implementation manager you will work closely with the distribution team to support both them and advisory firms with implementing the company's platform to their business. This role will require comprehensive knowledge of the company's systems and processes, and how it interacts with systems that an adviser business will use. The role will require the ability to work with key stakeholders within the company to deliver significant strategic projects, and to work closely with adviser firms to deliver on those agreed objectives. This will include comprehensive reporting and data management.

Role Profile

  • New client onboarding - supporting clients in the early adoption phase of the company's solutions to ensure they have a positive and successful experience of working with the platform. In doing so, identify challenges, problem solve and create a suitable transition roadmap for the client
  • Migrating client assets - support clients and internal teams (via development and education) to transition existing business from other solutions to the company's platform
  • Data migration - support clients with providing data to the internal team to produce business cases, and understanding client segments suitable for moving to the company's platform
  • Training and education of clients - provide high-quality training & education (both initial and ongoing) to ensure client front and back-office teams have a superior understanding of the systems and the efficiencies that can be gained
  • Proactively identify and action opportunities in order to further enhance use of the system. These sessions will be delivered either face-to-face, or remotely using web-based tools
  • Back-office engagement - build deep understanding relationships with client back-office teams and the systems that they use
  • management - ensure the data on clients is up to date allowing for easy engagement and a centralised overview of our clients for the distribution teams
  • Project management - track new implementations to ensure timely execution through to BAU, alongside working with internal project managers/development staff to test and execute new releases

Person Profile

  • Experience of on-boarding new client relationships onto platform technology
  • Detailed experience of running strategic partner projects in conjunction with distribution teams
  • Experience of running relationships between distribution and operations
  • Experience of the advice process and how advisor firms interact with clients and providers
  • Knowledge of the long term savings market; in particular pension, platforms annuities/drawdown and international solutions
  • Highly developed knowledge of platforms and their operation
  • A detailed understanding of how advisers use platforms within their business
  • Highly developed knowledge of managing accounts
  • Ability to effectively manage numerous accounts over a wide geography and manage diary accordingly
  • Excellent presentation skills to cover technical solutions involved in platform projects
  • Be highly skilled in the required IT toolkit to manage platform migrations and enable distribution teams to effectively on-board new and existing relationships
  • Ability to demonstrate highly effective interpersonal and communication skills including, influencing, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage own time within agreed high level plans maintaining a delivery focus
  • Work to a very high and detailed standard
  • Ability to work well in a team but can equally work well on your own
  • Understand the needs of consumers and advisers in the long term savings market
  • Adopt and lead change with speed, agility, creativity and confidence
