Overview

Our Client is a well established Douglas-based firm of Chartered Accountants, with a rich heritage in serving both local and international clients. As the practice continues to grow, they are seeking an experienced Debtor Clerk and Support Administrator to join their team.


Role Profile

Provide credit control and dedicated support to the administration department, duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Credit controller to support the administration team
  • Issuing invoices in co-ordination with administrators
  • Debtor chaser
  • Processing payments
  • General debtor control
  • Report to management
  • Office account reconciliations
  • Client account reconciliations

Following suitable training you will need to be able to work on your own with minimal supervision. Be pro-active in the office environment and show initiative to improve efficiencies and be willing to help others as required.

Person Profile

  • 5 GSCEs or equivalent at grade C or above
  • At least 3 years administration experience
  • Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • External and internal training will be provided and encouraged
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to work on their own initiative
  • Able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
  • Proactive, problem-solver, team player
  • A desire to progress your career

Desirable:

  • CCH and Laserfiche would be an advantage but not essential
  • Dealings in a fiduciary environment an advantage
