Job description

Overview

Our leading Financial Services Sector Client is continuing a high growth trajectory, coupled with an ambitious transformation programme and are now seeking a Investment Control Administrator to join their Investments Team.

As Investment Control Administrator responsibilities will include sourcing, verifying, investigating, and calculating fund prices accurately and promptly. Furthermore, you will processcorporate actions by reviewing notifications received, ensuring these are communicated as relevant toinvestors, IFAs, and partners, and completing required system updates.

Role Profile

  • Complete daily pricing and corporate actions processes, with good understanding and effective use of related systems
  • Able to accurately calculate prices manually when required
  • Assist with reconciliations and data cleansing activities
  • Complete the internal and mirror fund factsheet production process
  • Complete reporting such as daily prices file or data analysis
  • Involvement in third party relationships such as with fund managers, custodians anddata vendor
  • Honesty and openness in all interactions, maintaining good relationships with all parties
  • Demonstrate professionalism in all written and verbal communication
  • Understand and apply the Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles in all aspects of the role, and able to evidence how TCF has been considered in any task
  • Keen awareness of Data Protection requirements
  • Ensure compliance and regulatory legislation requirements are met and adhered to
  • Work as part of the team in a collaborative and constructive manner
  • Support the team, including answering queries, checking, training, and coaching
  • Complete work to meet set service standards and deadlines
  • Demonstrate awareness of the potential risks of the area and be able to evidence the controls in place to mitigate them
  • Highlight any efficiency opportunities within the area, suggesting changes
  • Identify and report issues, suggesting solutions where possible

Person Profile

  • Minimum of 1 years' experience in the Life Assurance/Financial Services industry
  • Honest, reliable and professional, and takes ownership of responsibilities
  • Able to work within a team or on own initiative
  • Takes ownership of and learns from mistakes
  • Good administration, literacy, numeracy, planning and organisational skills
  • Flexible/adaptable to changing priorities
  • Able to meet targets and goals with accurate results
  • Can maintain high level of accuracy including when under pressure, within agreed service standards
  • Positive can-do attitude and commitment to "get the job done"
  • Proactive and keen to expand knowledge and take on new tasks

Desirable

  • Experience within investment related role
  • Proven experience of dealing with external parties such as fund managers,
  • custodians, and financial advisers
