Job description


Our leading Douglas-based Finance Sector Client is undergoing a time of significant growth and transformation as they integrate a recent corporate acquisition. To support these endeavours, they are seeking an Investment Marketing Analyst specialising in investments to join the Marketing Team.

The role would suit a committed team player with excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.The successful candidate will assist the Investment Marketing team with the continuing development and review of the company's investment fund ranges, including the distribution of fund performance data and the creation of insightful investment marketing materials for both online and offline use.

Role Profile

  • Analysis and governance of the internal fund ranges
  • Designing and maintaining management information in relation to the fund ranges
  • Monitoring corporate actions and their impact on our internal fund ranges; assisting in the preparation of suitable client and adviser communications, both physical and web based
  • Preparation and updating of fund related literature
  • Accurate maintenance of fund data internally and with external suppliers
  • Maintenance of investment related web solutions and tools
  • Managing relationships with fund manager groups and negotiation of commercial terms
  • Providing technical support for investment and performance related queries

Person Profile

  • Have a minimum of 5 years' experience in financial services in an investment-related capacity
  • Be organised, highly numerate and analytical, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Have a high level of attention to detail with the ability to critically analyse large amounts of data succinctly for consideration by senior management
  • Be able to work independently, prioritise changing workflows, work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Be able to take ownership of their work and engage with key stakeholders within the business
  • Be highly skilled at using Microsoft Excel to analyse large amounts of data, including the use of pivot tables, macros and formulae to automate solutions
  • Be highly skilled at producing engaging presentations with PowerPoint and/or other tools
  • Be a competent user of Microsoft Word, capable of producing succinct management reports which critically assess the impact of potential decisions and provide recommendations
  • Possess an understanding of life assurance products and pricing strategies
  • Have detailed knowledge of investment funds, the investment markets and fund related regulatory impacts
  • Ideally hold, or be working towards, a relevant investments or marketing qualification
