Job description


Our innovative Cheshire-based client designs, manufactures and distributes unique products on a global scale. Established for more than 12 years, they operate from offices in the UK, USA and China. In order to manage sustained growth and demand for their products they require a National Account Manager.

Role Profile

  • P&L responsibility, managing budget controls and maximising profitability
  • Proactively account manage existing relationships to deliver the sales plan
  • Develop new business plans to generate growth
  • Negotiate business terms
  • Manage the product portfolio with key customers
  • Manage product launches
  • Deliver key promotional activity
  • Develop relationships internally with key stakeholders
  • Manage sales forecasting and pricing analysis including reporting
  • Build customer proposals
  • Create and deliver engaging customer presentations

Person Profile

  • Sales experience in a customer facing role ideally within an FMCG or consumer durables environmentwithin an SME
  • You must be able to build relationships quickly and be a strong influencer to deliver projectsefficiently and effectively
  • Tenacity, you will see the word "NO" as a challenge to overcome!
  • High level of Excel proficiency, a background in a Sales Analytics role is desirable
  • Strong organisations skills and attention to detail. Experience of Project Management in a previous role would be advantageous
  • A background in supply chain would be desirable or a knowledge of the processes
  • Creative ability in order to deliver powerful sales presentations to our customers
  • A strong commercial financial understanding
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to take direction when needed
  • Experience within the party/toy/craft/seasonal/impulse categories would be advantageous
