Job description
Overview
Our Client are an internationally renowned engineering business, who are enjoying continued growth across many departments. They are now seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join an established quality assurance team.
In the role of Quality Inspector you will inspect in-process aerospace components as manufactured by Operations and ensure compliance with customer specifications and industry standards. Wider responsibilities include:
- Inspection of product being received into the facility and at inspection operations. In addition, required to assist with other inspection activities as necessary to support business requirements
- Complete component measurements in-line with drawing and customer requirements in adherence to BSI measurement standards
- Utilise a variety of solutions from standard measuring equipment
- Interpretation of customer drawings and specifications
- Assist with internal audits and work collaboratively with colleagues on problem solving activities, 3C/5Y & 8D problem solving
- Comply with company polices and all Health & Safety guidelines
The ideal candidate for the role of Quality Inspector will have:
- Engineering/Manufacturing background is essential
- Computer literate
Training will be provided for:
- Customer Quality Standards
- Basic knowledge of CMM on an operational level
- Use of all necessary measuring equipment
- Material Testing
