Overview
Our leading Douglas-based Finance Sector Client is expanding its Group Risk, Legal and Compliance Team as they progress an ambitious transformation programme. They are now seeking an experienced Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join them.
The Regulatory Compliance Specialist will be responsible for:
- Supporting the submission of regulatory returns for the Group Companies
- Maintenance of various internal governance papers and registers
- Undertaking compliance assurance reviews
- Review and respond to regulatory consultations
- Monitor and interpret regulation
- Preparation of Board and Committee reports
- Provide regulatory compliance advice and support to key strategic projects
The ideal candidate for the role of Regulatory Compliance Specialist will have:
- Relevant Industry qualification required e.g. ICA International Diploma or equivalent; or the willingness to work towards and achieve within the first 18 months in the role
- Good understanding of knowledge of regulations and legislation within the financial services sector
- Ability to influence and challenge constructively
- Business understanding and wider commercial insight
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Embrace change and comfortable working on multiple activities simultaneously
- Work independently to tight timelines
- Track record for delivering timely, credible, subject matter expertise
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
