Overview

Our leading Financial Services Sector Client is continuing a high growth trajectory, coupled with an ambitious transformation programme are now seeking a Senior Dealing and Settlements Administrator to join an established team.

Role Profile

  • Completion of the daily dealing and settlements processes with good understanding, meeting both internal and external deadlines and effective use of related systems
  • Able to accurately create transactions and monitor these throughout their life cycle
  • Timely completion of account opening and trading documentation
  • Assist with reconciliations and data cleansing activities
  • Completion of money out process and money in matching, which may also involve investigation work
  • Overseeing policyholder valuations
  • Maintaining third party relationships such as with fund managers, custodians and data vendors
  • Asset set ups and reregistration
  • Understand and apply the Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles in all aspects of the role, and ableto evidence how TCF has been considered in any task
  • Keen awareness of Data Protection requirements
  • Ensure compliance and regulatory legislation requirements are met and adhered to
  • Complete work to meet set service standards and deadlines
  • Demonstrate awareness of the potential risks of the area and be able to evidence the controls in place to mitigate them
  • Highlight any efficiency opportunities within the area, suggesting changes
  • Identify and report issues, suggesting solutions where possible

Person Profile

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience within the Life Assurance sector
  • 5 x GCSE (or equivalent) grade C or above, including English and Mathematics
  • Reasonable knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to draft letters/fax
  • Computer literate - comfortable using a wide variety of systems
  • Some exposure to an office environment and basic office skills
  • Good telephone manner,_planning, and organisational skills
  • Ability to work within a team or on own initiative
  • Can maintain high level of accuracy and still work within agreed service standards
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Positive can-do attitude
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Clear understanding of customer service
  • Commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
  • A good knowledge of the business' product range, charging structures and procedures
  • Ability to meet individual targets and goals with accurate results

Desirable:

  • Formal qualifications in finance or a business related subject to 'A' level standard or higher
  • Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) - Investment Operations_Certificate
