Overview

Our Client is a well established Douglas-based organisation that offers a comprehensive suite of accountancy and wealth management services to enable clients to grow, manage and preserve all facets of their financial affairs through cross-border resources and expertise-led solutions. As they undergo a growth phase, they are seeking a Senior Business Control Administrator.

Role Profile

As a Senior Business Control Administrator, you will provide administration assistance and dedicated support to the Business Control Team. Duties will include:

  • Assisting the team with the new client onboarding process
  • Prepare periodic file reviews and risk assessments for existing clients
  • Assist the team with the trigger event process
  • Deal with client due diligence on a risk-based approach
  • Reviewing and matching potential screening hits
  • Assist the team with client closure requests
  • Assist with collation of information for external banking reviews
  • Liaise directly with clients
  • Maintenance of departmental control spreadsheets
  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of departmental procedure manuals, policies and associated documentation
  • Ensure knowledge of AML/CFT is always up-to-date with recent developments and changes to legislation
  • Liaise with the Compliance Team
  • Assist with the delivery of any change initiatives or projects impacting the business

Person Profile

  • A minimum of 3 years in a TCSP environment in a similar role
  • Good working knowledge of AML/CFT legislation
  • Good working knowledge of Complex Corporate Structures
  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent at grade C or above
  • Able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
  • Strong communication skills
  • Able to work on own initiative & with minimal supervision
  • Organisational skills & ability to prioritise
  • Support and assist the Business Control Team
  • Proactive, a problem solver, team player, enthusiastic
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Familiarity and competence with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Attention to detail and accuracy

Desirable:

  • CCH, Viewpoint and Laserfiche would be an advantage but not essential
