Overview
Our leading Finance Sector Client is undergoing a time of significant growth and transformation following a recent corporate acquisition. To support this and grow their organisation they are seeking a Senior Dealing Officer to join the Dealing Team.
As a Senior Dealing Officer you will have an important role to play within the Portfolio Bond Dealing Team, contributing to the placement of over 100,000 trades per year totaling over £3bn, ensuring all work is completed within service level agreements and to an exceptional degree of accuracy. Duties will include:
- Process dealing instructions containing retail assets in line with dealing approved limits for personalised portfolio bonds, as per service standards and to a high degree of accuracy
- Assist with complex enquiries from policyholders, advisers and members of the sales team, quickly and efficiently
- Investigative and error remediation work and processing Investment corrections as required
- Work closely with colleagues to deliver a positive experience for our customers throughout the life cycle of their policy
- Providing mentorship and training to new members of the team as well as participating in cross-training to ensure a flexible and agile workforce
- Assist with ad-hoc investment related tasks as required
- Liaise with stockbrokers and custodians as required
The ideal candidate for the role of Senior Dealing Officer will have:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a dealing or Investments environment (ideally within the life Assurance industry) and a good understanding of Investments
- 5 GCSE's grades A-C or equivalent, including English and Maths
- A high level of accuracy and good communication skills
- Proven ability to work to deadlines in a high pressurised environment
- Hold or working towards the CISI Introduction to Securities & Investments; or IOC qualification with previous experience of AWD would be advantageous
