Job description
Overview
A prestigious Douglas-based Corporate Service Provider is going through a period of change and growth and is now in the first phase of recruitment to supplement an established , friendly team. At this time they require a Senior Trust Officer.
As Senior Trust Officer here you will play a pivotal role in managing a portfolio of key clients, including complex structures and a variety of asset classes. Your day-to-day will involve:
- Client & Portfolio Management: Administering trusts, companies, and private funds with a focus on high-value and complex entities
- Governance & Compliance: Ensuring robust corporate governance, accurate record-keeping, and timely tax filings
- Communication & Coordination: Acting as a key point of contact for clients and intermediaries, handling queries efficiently, and collaborating across departments
- Transaction Oversight: Managing property and investment transactions, including liaising with solicitors, agents, and advisors, and preparing relevant documentation
- Financial Administration: Reviewing accounts, overseeing credit facilities, monitoring investments, and managing banking and brokering activities
- Operational Excellence: Prioritising workload, maintaining data accuracy, and ensuring all actions align with internal policies and procedures
The ideal candidate for the role of Senior Trust Officer will have:
- 3+ years' Trust and Company experience within an Isle of Man TCSP
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- A team player with a proactive attitude
Desirable:
- Holds or is working toward STEP or ICSA, or prepared to undertake training towards a formal qualification
