Job description

Overview

Our Client is a global specialist in corporate, fund and active wealth services and is looking for an experienced Statutory Officer to join in support of the Statutory Team Lead.

Role Profile

  • Work within the team and take direct responsibility for Statutory Operational tasks for the client companies across numerous jurisdictions within the company
  • Ensure that all Regulatory filings, reporting and fees are completed on time in order that the Companies for which services are provided for by the company, remain in good standing supporting and providing guidance on all statutory operational matters
  • Ensure delivery on regulatory and client commitments to agreed deadlines and to a high standard
  • Lead and embrace change, control and mitigate risk across your span of control
Key Accountabilities

Take direct control for all reporting and filing requirement to include but not restricted to the following tasks:-

  • Annual Return preparation and filing, all jurisdictions
  • Company Formations
  • Company Transfers
  • Appointment and resignation of Company Officers together with maintenance of company statutory registers
  • Share Transfers together with maintenance of company statutory registers
  • Preparation of various statutory documentation requested from time to time
  • Beneficial Owner reporting Isle of Man
  • ID & V maintenance for Authorised signatories
  • LEI Registrations new and renewals
  • Coordinating the payment of all foreign agents' fees

Risk

  • Support your line manager in driving appropriate behaviour and take action to ensure agreed business risk targets are met
  • Ensure the company is compliant with local regulatory requirements supporting a positive relationship with the local regulator through strong governance
  • Directly responsible for a number of regulatory filings and will be required to meet deadlines associated with these filings

Person Profile

Professional and Technical Experience

  • Have proven experience within the fiduciary field and will demonstrate good client service
  • Demonstrate an understanding of Statutory Operational tasks and have an awareness of current issues affecting fiduciary structures
  • Demonstrate excellent technical competence and an ability to impart that knowledge to others effectively
