Overview

Our Internationally renowned client is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join an established team. As Supply Chain Manager you will maintain a cost effective Supply Chain in the West and work with Senior Manager Global Supply Chain to ensure Global alignment.

Role Profile

  • Develop and then manage Supply Chain for the organisation
  • Manage relationship with 3PL Warehousing suppliers
  • Manage relationship and budget with Freight Forwarders and hauliers
  • Manage relationships with Water Category OEM suppliers
  • Manage Supply Chain relationships with WATER CATEGORY Customers
  • Minimise Import Duty Costs and where possible reclaim any refunds that are entitled to
  • On-going development of western supply chain to meet evolving needs of retailers, distributors and drop-shipments
  • Review & Maintain WATER CATEGORY Forecast
  • Assist in WATER CATEGORY Budget generation
  • Manage 3PL Budget
  • Look for costing savings
  • Provide SAP advice to all departments.
  • Authorising Transport Invoices
  • Minimising WATER CATEGORY Stock Outs and minimising WATER CATEGORY FG Inventory
  • Maintaining Budgeted Purchase costs
  • Improving Systems conformance within WATER CATEGORY

Person Profile

  • Degree or relevant Supply Chain Professional Qualification
  • Significant experience in a hands on demanding multi-location environment
  • Experience of Manufacturing industry
  • Specific Knowledge in SAP of Manufacturing, Supply Chain & Purchasing
  • Knowledge of EU Intrastat Reporting, related VAT Reporting and Customs procedures
  • Understanding of Contract Law
  • Knowledge of Cost Accounting
  • Demonstrable numerical and budgetary experience
  • Strong ability to perform well in a high pressure and complex environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to envision and deliver innovative solutions
  • Proven analytical, planning, and organising skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to listen effectively while relating to a diverse Supplier & Customer base
  • Excellent in written and spoken English
  • Strong Commercial understanding
  • Comfortable with being 'hands on' and producing own Excel and PowerPointreports as necessary, for example
