Overview

Our leading Douglas-based Financial Services Client is continuing a high growth trajectory and are now seeking a small team of experienced Software Testers to join them on a contract basis (6 months minimum) in support of their ambitious technology transformation & migration programme.

Role Profile

• Conducting analysis and producing clear documentation, including test documentation where necessary
• Identifying and managing test related issues throughout the development lifecycle
• Taking ownership for delivering accurate estimates of time and resources for assigned test phases, including dependencies, risks and assumptions
• Communicating progress against test plans

Person Profile

• ISTQB Foundation Certified Software Tester
• Experience in the use of test management tools (e.g. Jira or Azure DevOps) for Test Case creation and execution
• A team player, you will be equally comfortable working under your own steam to achieve a common goal
• Experience in a similar role within in a financial services environment and be suitably qualified or qualified by experience
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure
• The ability to generate and follow comprehensive test plans

Desirable:

• Experience working with large migration programmes would be preferable
