Overview
Our Client is a well established Douglas-based financial services company that offers a comprehensive suite of accountancy and wealth management services to their clients.
In order to support and manage the company's growth, they are seeking an experienced Tax Compliance Manager to join their fiduciary team.
Role Profile
- Preparing/reviewing UK corporation tax returns for companies and trusts including disposal of land/property
- Reviewing client base to ensure TRS requirements are met
- Reviewing client portfolios on 10 year anniversaries/exit charges
- Preparing tax pool information for Trusts
- Reviewing IOM tax returns
- Reviewing ATED returns
- Ability to highlight potential tax issues on live transactions in a timely manner
- Organisation of client tax deadlines
- Ensuring the board of directors are aware of tax issues that could affect the business and/or clients
Person Profile
- Qualified ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience
- At least 3 to 4 years of accounting/audit and experience working in UK taxation of offshore structures
- External and internal training will be provided and encouraged to complete ACCA or ACA qualification
- High level knowledge of UK taxation of offshore structures
- Ability to manage a team
- Attention to detail
