Job description


Our leading Douglas-based Financial Services Client is continuing a high growth trajectory, coupled with an ambitious transformation programme and are now seeking an experienced Valuations Administrator to join an established Team.

Role Profile

  • Understanding and integrating Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles into all aspects of the role, and being able to evidence how TCF has been considered
  • Understanding the potential risks of activities and the controls in place to mitigate them
  • Proactively identifying and reporting issues, with solutions suggested where possible
  • Completing tasks linked to the valuations workflow and adhering to associated processes
  • Liaising with external parties to obtain account data and resolve issues
  • Assisting with reconciliations and data cleansing activities
  • Dealing with ad-hoc correspondence and telephone queries from financial advisers and Utmost sales colleagues as required
Person Profile
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Financial Services
  • Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Proven experience of dealing with external parties such as fund managers, custodians, financial advisers
  • Understanding of investment instruments such as equities, bonds, collective investment schemes
  • Hands-on experience with basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel formulae & functions
  • Good working knowledge of IOM/UK regulatory structure and legislation
  • Hands-on experience with Xceptor automation software
  • GCSE (or equivalent) grade C, English and Maths
  • Qualified in a finance or business-related subject to A level standard or higher
  • Studying or seeking to study towards a relevant professional qualification in finance/investments
