Overview

Our Douglas-based client are an independent, dynamic business that provides a diverse range of services to a broad audience of small professional service businesses. They are now seeking two experienced Payroll and Invoicing Administrators to join an established team.

The purpose of this role is to ensure that all funds received are allocated and paid to the client in a timely manner to ensure they are paid on time, and that the team respond to queries from clients and agencies quickly.Responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying funds received, process cash allocation, reconciliations and manage associated payroll
  • Process P45s & Tax Code changes along with statutory payments (i.e., student loans, sick pay, pension, maternity & paternity pay)
  • Raise invoices accurately and liaise with agencies and clients relating to payroll and invoicing queries
  • Manage all queries and requests raised by agencies and clients in relation to any aspect of their payroll (timesheets, invoices, payments, payslips, pensions, statutory payments etc)
  • Debtor chasing and undertake timesheet chasing to facilitate the timely raising of invoices
  • Liaise with brokers and introducers, managing queries raised
  • Support the customer support function to ensure queries are answered in a timely manner

The ideal candidates for the role of Payments and Invoicing Administrator will have:

  • Previous experience in processing payroll
  • Be highly organised and ability to work to set deadlines essential
  • Have a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy for payroll processing essential
  • Able to deal with a high volume of work
  • Effective communication skills required
  • Willingness to take ownership, solve problems, initiate activity and push to get things done
  • Excellent communicator both written and verbal
  • Friendly, enthusiastic and a good team member
  • Excellent MS Office Suite familiarity (MS Word and Excel)
