Overview

Our Client is a leading niche Company & Trust Services Provider based in Douglas. Owing to continued growth, they require additional senior support within their Isle of Man operation in the guise of a Trust Manager.

The Trust Manager will take direct line management responsibility for a team, of varying degrees of seniority, supporting and coaching them and working to identify and mitigate risk across their span of control and to ensure high standards of client service.

In this role you will have direct administrative responsibility for trusts, companies or other wealth structures and will through their management of their team ensure that first class service is provided to a portfolio of clients. You will promote the business and its objectives, while driving morale by providing support and guidance (technical and otherwise) to their team.

The ideal candidate for the role of Trust Manager will:

• Hold a relevant professional qualification (such as STEP or ICSA)
• Have significant industry experience and will demonstrate first class client service delivering against the needs and demands of high net worth clients both from prior experience and through driving the performance of others
• Demonstrate excellent technical competency and an ability to impart that knowledge to others effectively
• Have a sound knowledge of current issues affecting structures and the clients for whom the business acts
• Have demonstrable experience of coaching and supporting colleagues and prior managerial experience is essential
• Be self-motivated and focussed on exceeding targets and goals
